Bill Bryson is one of my favorite authors. He mixes facts and figures with humor and human interest. His chapter, Losing a Son, perfectly captures the feelings and experience of sending your first-born to college. I highly recommend this read.

Good reading list! I like Bryson and thought Team of Rivals was what the Bush II administration sorely lacked (among other things)
