Anita took me to the Indianapolis Motor Speedway for the first time. It was very interesting. We went into the garage area and watched the mechanics work on the engines, frames, tires, and other things that I know nothing about.We walked along pit row and watched pit crews with their computers and wrenches tweaking machines that tear up the track at 200+ miles per hour.
We ate chicken, coleslaw, biscuits and apple butter.
And we were able to hang out with Tony Kanaan. Look for him on Race Day…he’s the last car in the pack. It will be quite exciting when he comes from behind to win the entire event.
