Human Nature – at its worst.

I am amazed at the cruelty of people. Homes have been destroyed. Infrastructure is obliterated. Food, water, fuel is in short supply and in some cases non-existent. And in the midst of this, people shoot at rescuers. They rape women waiting for help. They plunder stores and attempt to sell the items to fellow sufferers. Search and rescue must be suspended to stop the criminal element of society.

The world is a crazy place. People are out of control. In a time when compassion and care should be at its height, so many people of New Orleans are at their very lowest.
