Wow. Talk about dated. I’ve never watched this movie before. I was too young to really appreciate it when it came out. Now I’m too old to really appreciate it.
There are some big names and they are fun to watch in their early years but the movie is a little hard to believe. I suppose if I’d gone to Georgetown and spent every evening in a bar with my friends and snorted coke I would understand it better.
I still like Rob Lowe, no matter how bad his part is. But Emilio Estevez is the same guy in every movie.
Mare Winningham is wonderful in this movie. She is also in God Bless the Child. I didn’t realize that she was in a movie with the Brat Pack and was shocked to see her in Turner and Hootch. She is certainly a versatile actress.
