This is the first year our family has helped with the community Thanksgiving dinner. It was an amazing experience.
This picture is of the dessert table for those who will visit the church and eat their meal there. Over 600 people were expected on Thanksgiving day.
Another series of tables held the 1200+ desserts that would be eaten by people who would receive their meals in their homes, delivered by volunteers.
Our evening started by filling little cups with cranberry sauce and ended with cutting and wrapping individual plates of pies, cakes, and cookies. It was an amazing experience.
