I’m going to brag for just a moment.
My daughter is an artist. She has talent that seemed to appear out of nowhere. One day she signed up for a ceramics class in high school and did things with clay that I’ve never seen before. Without any formal training, she created sculpture and form, shape and beauty.
One day, a person asked her paint some wooden letters for a wall hanging and my daughter found color and shape. She created master pieces on 6-inch pine planks.
Without any formal training, and of her own accord, she completed the necessary application process and was accepted to Heron School of Art.
Now she creates beautiful pottery and fantastic prints, ink-washes and so much more. She has a gift and it fills our lives with beauty.
