This was a long weekend but it went very quickly. I realized today that I’ve either been on vacation or sick for the past month and tomorrow is my return to the real world.
I’m not sure I’m brave enough to go back. I’ve offered to be the “stay-at-home” dad if Anita will only work a second job. She pointed out that our 18 and 15 year-old might not need me home like the same children did when they were 5 and 2. I don’t think you can deprive them of the security a stay-at-home parent provides.
I’m just saying that I think this could off-set future counseling expenses later in their lives.
