This was a very good day.
Up at 5:00 a.m. to feed the yelping dog, I fired up a pot of coffee and prepared to take my daughter to a local church for a weekend retreat. When I returned, I put away a pot off coffee, wrote numerous blogs, and watched a couple movies before anyone else in the house was awake.
After another hour, I loaded Ben into the van ran some errands. We stopped by the post office to mail a package to Jonathan and then visited the Noblesville Hazardous Waste Center to drop off some old oil and paint. While there, we threw recycling into the appropriate dumpsters. From there, we went past the Noblesville Music Center to allow Ben a few minutes on a 12 string.
A quick stop at Goodwill added two vinyl albums to Ben’s collection. He also got another vest to add to his wardrobe.
Lunch at Penn Station and a visit to Big Lots for some school supplies finished our morning errands.
The rest of the day was even less entertaining. A nap, some writing, and an attempt to sign up for the GRE were highlights of the remaining hours.
