The competition ended badly. Last year our gingerbread home was fantastic. This year, home was less than livable. Once the roof started sliding off, the sidewalls fell in and soon our structure was nothing more than a joke for the other teams. We did receive two votes but there were three on our team (which means one of our members voted for another house).
Overall, though the day was just wonderful. A peaceful morning, a fun day with family, and an evening with a dear friend.
Christmas day, 2010 was a joy.
