For the past several days it has rained, thundered, flashed lightning, blown wind and rumbled loudly.
I love spring rains. Summer rain is even better. But this is ridiculous.
My flower pots are soaked.
My vegetable garden is floating.
My dogs are muddy.
My sod…okay…my new sod really likes it. In fact, my yard LOVES it. The grass is growing thick and green. I have the most beautiful yard. It is prettier than it has been in years. Thick, lush grass covers spots that have been bare for many years.
So let it rain. Let it pour. Like they say, “Every cloud has a silver lining”.
