Merlin needs your prayers. Merlin is about 10 years old and has a tumor. He needs it removed.
Merlin’s pets need your prayers, too. They love this cat and it has meant more to them in the past several years than you will ever understand.
I’ll be honest…I don’t usually lift up an animal for prayer. I think there are enough problems with people and God’s attention should not be diverted. However, Matthew 6:26 instructs us to, “Look at the birds of the air; they do not sow or reap or store away in barns, and yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not much more valuable than they?”
So, if God cares for the birds, he surely cares also for cats. I KNOW he cares for my neighbors and the burden they carry for this ill family member. I know he holds them in the arms of his mercy and grace during this time of tension and waiting.
Please say a prayer for Merlin. And while you are at it, please pray for his pets.
