Dear God,
Thank you for my friends Jeff and Rhonda. You have led them through many difficult days. You have strengthened them through the darkest moments. You have lifted them up to a place where they see your will and I am thankful.
Thank you that Jeff is a pastor. I thank you for his wisdom. I thank you for his compassion. I thank you for his sincerity. I pray that he will continue to hear your voice. Give him quiet moments, when he can hear your voice in the wind blowing off the bean fields, the rising and setting of the sun, and the sweet song of the sparrow. Thank you for his courage to lead and faith to follow.
Thank you for making Rhonda who she is today. I pray that she would continue to know your hand in all of life’s bumps. I pray that she will remember where you have taken her in 15 long years. Give her eyes to see where she will be 15 years from now, solely because of your love and grace. Thank you for the depth of her character and the strength of her will. Thank you for her willingness to bend to your desire. Thank you for the peace she has found at this time in her life.
May my friends’ days be filled with renewed hope for their ministry and their family. May they know your unending love and peace for each new day. May they find assurance in the direction their lives have taken and the duty to which you have called.
