I’m back in the car driving to work. My father-in-law said it so well a few years before he retired, “I’m nothing but a damn starling.” They leave their trees in the morning when the sun is coming up and I’m driving past the trees. They return to their trees at night when the sun is going down and I’m driving past the trees. I’m just like one of those black birds. Except they poop on my car. I don’t do that.
