My American / Disney perspective made it hard to fully appreciate the beautiful building. I kept looking for a hunchback but was disappointed.
I was also surprised by the size. I thought it would be bigger. In my art history classes in college, we studied the flying buttresses and the pictures on the screen seemed to make the structure seem to be twice its size.
Don’t get me wrong, I would visit it again and enjoy every minute. But I would like a tour of the bell towers, just to make sure Quasimoto isn’t hiding behind the gargoyles.
